Re: When to change LSD?
That really depends on your personal driving, in casual driving your not going to notice much difference, when your pushing the car quickly through corners and into corners is where you will feel a difference.
There's not much difference from the cusco, kaaz etc. We have more direct experience with the cusco but they all perform good/thesame ( plan on going to a Kaaz just to do it )
In regards to getting a 1.5 or 2 way now or later. If you don't mind a slightly steeper learning curve by having the 2way it would be better in our opinion to get a 2 way and get it over with. Yea the 1.5 way will be a little easier but we don't feel it justifies the redundancy in cost. Like.. buying 1.5 now just to come back to us for a 2 way later.
But in daily driving you wont see any real difference and if you have a weekend drift car or whatever it is, you will save money in the long run by just getting a 2 way from the beginning.

Noise? Not really, far as LSDs go you can hear them every now and again, particularly if your going in reverse and have your steering wheel at an angle, kinda like backing out of a parking space to drive off, but far as flat out noise..... nah...

Tsuku is right they don't really make alot of noise. Far as all the other kinds take our website lightly in regards to how much is there, we keep adding stuff literally everyday and probably wont be done with all of the Nissan stuff for another month or so, just email us, we can get any of the LSDs and will try to give you a discount for being an early forum member.
cheers!
